Life Behind Beards - Editor/Camera

Abraham Lincoln, Charles Darwin, Ernest Hemingway. All great men and all embraced the glory that is facial hair. Life Behind Beards investigates the growing subculture of beard and mustache clubs. Join us as we follow three bearded brethren preparing for the 2009 New York City Beard and Mustache Championships. Remember kids, you don’t grow the beard - the beard grows you.

*Winner of Special Broadcast in the 2009 College Broadcasters INC. National Student Production Awards.

Be Somebody - Producer/Editor

Created for an advanced television production course at Rowan University during the fall of 2008.   Be Somebody candidly tells the story of Pedro's immigration into the United States in hope of providing a better life for his family.  

The short documentary was shot entirely in field throughout the greater tri-state area.  This was my second role as producer and my first attempt to make a stand alone documentary.  

*Winner of Best Picture in the College and Young Adult Competition during the 2010 RE:IMAGE Film Festival.

A cooperative project between Rowan University's Engineering and Communications department.  This virtual tour offers prospective students valuable insight into the world of engineering opportunities offered by Rowan's nationally respected engineering department.

RU's College of Fine and Performing Arts - Editor

A collimation of recordings from the artistic community of Rowan University, this promotional piece focus not only on the opportunities offered by Rowan, but also from the creative culture focal points of the the surrounding cities of Philadelphia to the west and New York only few hours north.

Hurricane Katrina: After the Waters Abated - Producer

This segment is from a live to tape talk show I produced in a introductory level television production course at Rowan University.  The show allowed an open forum to discuss the experiences students gather while participating in a recent trip to New Orleans as part of Rowan University's Hurricane Relief Effort.  The show also featured Demond Miller, published author, head of Rowan's Hurricane Relief Effort and Louisianan.
